The staff at Federal Knife, Inc. has combined well over 75 years experience with industrial cutting blades. The company originated over 12 years ago as a local shop, providing resharpening services and replacement saw blades and planer knives to local factories, woodworkers and lumber mills.

Since then, FKI has grown to be one of the leading competitors nationwide in the replacement blade industry. We now supply our high quality replacement knives to end users, OEM's and distributors all across the United States, as well as internationally.

In the fall of 1999, having outgrown our original location in Corydon, IN, Federal Knife relocated 15 miles away to a larger, more modern facility in Palmyra, IN, just west of Louisville, KY. This enabled us to expand our sales department, warehouse, inventory and shipping areas, as well as our precision sharpening division.

Precision knife resharpening is done on-site, with several knife grinders dedicated to restoring all types and sizes of machine knives (straight & circular) to their original specifications.

We also maintain a large inventory of popular replacement blades, with immediate shipment from inventory available.
